Mengurutkan Data Berdasarkan Warna (Sorting Data by Colors)

Mengurutkan data berdasarkan angka atau huruf mungkin sudah biasa, tapi dapatkah Anda mengurutkan data berdasarkan warna? Dengan bantuan 2 fitur dari JMT Excel Utilities hal ini sangat mudah dilakukan yaitu dengan Show Selection Tools dan Show Range Tools. Sorting the data based on the numbers or letters may be familiar for you, but can you sort the data based on color? With the help of 2 features of the JMT Excel Utilities, it is very easy to do that with Show Selection Tools and Show Range Tools. Please click the image below to see an animated illustration:

Berikut langkah-langkahnya:

1. Beri blok/range pada kolom C atau kolom yang mempunyai warna untuk diurutkan (C2:C11).
2. Buka JMT Excel Utilities > Show Selection Tools > tab Select by Format lalu beri centang pada Cell Color. Secara otomatis warna yang terpilih adalah warna pada warna pada range paling atas yakni C2. Saat tombol Okay ditekan, akan terpilih sel-sel yang berwarna kuning yaitu C2, C5, dan C8. Kemudian keluar dengan menekan tombol Exit.
3. Buka JMT Excel Utilities > Show Range Tools > pilih Select Adjacent Cells lalu tekan tombol Right sekali untuk memindahkan range tersebut ke kolom D. Kemudian keluar dengan menekan tombol Close [x].
4. Tekan angka misal 1, lalu tekan tombol Ctrl + Enter secara bersamaan agar ketiga sel tersebut (C2, C5, dan C8) terisi dengan angka 1.
5. Lakukan hal yang sama untuk warna-warna yang lain dengan diberi angka 2, 3, dst. Untuk warna selanjutnya (biru), lakukan blok/range dimulai dari C3:C11 agar secara otomatis warna pada Cell Color adalah warna biru.
6. Lakukan pengurutan data seperti biasa berdasarkan kolom D.

Mudah bukan?

Here are the steps:

1. Give a range in column C or columns that have colors to be sorted (C2: C11).
2. Open JMT Excel Utilities > Show Selection Tools > Select by Format tab and add check mark on Cell Color. Automatically selected color is the color which is top of the range (C2). When Okay button is pressed, yellow cells will be selected (C2, C5, and C8). Then press Exit button.
3. Open JMT Excel Utilities > Show Range Tools > select the Select adjacent Cells option and press the Right button once to move the range to column D. Then exit by pressing the Close button [X].
4. Press the number 1 (for example), then press Ctrl + Enter keys simultaneously so three of these cells (C2, C5, and C8) is filled with number 1.
5. Do the same for other colors with and give number 2, 3, etc.. For the next color (blue),  range can be started from C3: C11 to automatically adjust the color on Cell Color is blue.
6. Perform sorting by column D.

Mengisi Sel Dalam Kolom (Fill Cells in Column)

Sama seperti fitur di JMT Excel Utilities yaitu Show Fill and Unfill Tools, dengan sedikit rumus kita bisa melakukan hal yang sama. Perhatikan gambar berikut:

Just like Show Fill and Unfill Tools feature in JMT Excel Utilities, with a little formula we can do the same thing. See the following picture:

Kolom A s/d C adalah data asli, sedang kolom D adalah rumus yang akan kita buat. Kita bermaksud untuk mengisi sel yang ada di dalam kolom A seperti hasil dalam kolom D. Rumus bisa dimulai di sel D2 sbb:
Columns A to C is the original data, while column D is a formula that we make. We intend to fill the cells in column A as results in column D. The formula in cell D2 can be started as follows:

=IF(B2="";"";IF(A2="";D1;A2))

Artinya jika sel B2 adalah sel kosong IF(B2=""; maka hasilnya akan kosong juga ""; selain itu jika sel A2 adalah sel kosong IF(A2=""; maka akan mengambil nilai di baris atasnya D1; selain itu akan mengambil nilai di sel A2 A2)). Kemudian Anda tinggal mengcopynya hingga baris terakhir.
This means that if cell B2 is the empty cell IF (B2 = ""; then the result will be empty too ""; otherwise, if cell A2 is blank cell IF (A2 = ""; then it will take the value in row above D1; or else it will take value in cell A2, A2)). Then you copy it to the rest of the row.

This feature is allow you to create date and time bookmarks so you do not have to bother anymore to make the date and time and gives the format you desire.

Anda cukup memilih tombol radio apakah hanya akan memberikan tanggal saja (Date Only), waktu saja (Time Only), atau Tanggal dan Waktu (Date and Time). Selanjutnya Anda tinggal memilih bentuk format tanggal dan waktunya.

You simply choose the radio button, whether you only want give the Date Only, Time Only, or even Date and Time. Afterward you can just choose the date and time format you desire.

Delete Rows with Criteria

Sama seperti fitur Hide Rows with Criteria, fitur ini bertujuan untuk menyembunyikan baris-baris yang mengandung kriteria tertentu. Kriteria yang dimaksud bisa berupa angka nol, sel kosong, atau sel yang mengandung kata tertentu.

Just like Hide Rows with Criteria, this feature is to delete ows that contain certain criteria. The criteria can be a zero value, empty cells, or cells that contain certain words.

Sebelum Anda menekan tombol Run Macro, silahkan pilih range pada kolom Select range, lalu pilih kriterianya:

Before you press the Run Macro button, please select range in the Select range box, and choose the criteria:

• 0 (Zero Value): Kriteria dengan sel yang mengandung nilai 0 (nol). Criteria of cell that contains the 0 value (zero).
• Empty cells: Kriteria dengan sel yang kosong. Criteria of empty cells.
• Text: Kriteria sel yang mengandung kata tertentu. Input teks yang akan dicari pada kolom yang disediakan. Criteria of cells that contain certain words. Input text to be searched in the field provided.

Fitur ini bertujuan untuk menyembunyikan baris-baris yang mengandung kriteria tertentu. Kriteria yang dimaksud bisa berupa angka nol, sel kosong, atau sel yang mengandung kata tertentu.

This feature is to hide rows that contain certain criteria. The criteria can be a zero value, empty cells, or cells that contain certain words.

Duplicate Data

Fitur ini bertujuan untuk mencari data yang ganda (lebih dari satu). Setelah ditemukan, data ganda tersebut bisa diberi format tebal dan diberi warna, hapus seluruh baris, atau hapus isinya.

This feature is to search multiple data (more than one). Once found, the duplicate data can be bold and given a color, delete the entire row, or delete the content.

Sebelum Anda menekan tombol Run Macro, silahkan pilih range pada kolom Select range kemudian pilih perintah yang akan dilakukan atas duplikasi data tersebut:

Before you press the Run Macro button, please select the range in the Select range box and then choose the option how duplicate data will be handled:

• Format as Bold and colored: data duplikasi akan diberi format huruf tebal dan akan diberi warna sesuai dengan pilihan warna di dropdown menu. Duplicate data will be given a bold format and will be assigned a color according to color choice in the dropdown menu.
• Delete Entire Row: data duplikasi akan dihapus seluruh baris. Duplicate data will be deleted the entire rows
• Clear Contents: data duplikasi akan dihapus dari sel. Duplicate data will be cleared from the cell.

This gadget actually I made long before I found JMT Excel Utilities on the Internet. At that time I was learning macros formula and combining macros that are scattered around the internet and in the form of Add-Ins according to my needs. Because this time I worked at. Tunas, Tbk., that's why I named this Add-Ins as Tunas Gadget. This Tunas Gadget have been used in the Accounting Division and is very helpful in processing data.
