You may often feel upset if you've selected many cells, but you accidentally select the cells you don't want to. Usually you repeat selection from the beginning. But with Deselect Cells Within Range feature, you don't need to repeat the selection from the beginning but simply delete the selection you don't want.
Let's say you have to selected A1:A10 but you don't intend to select the A5 and A8, with Deselect Cells Within Range, you can simply select cells A5 and A8, and they will not be selected again.
Isn't it easy?
